The Communications Department provides timely and accurate information to citizens and helps promote community events and quality of life programs to residents and visitors to the East Lansing community. The department is responsible for managing media relations, the City's website, social media, internal communication services, graphic design, print publications, e-newsletters and photography.
The City has a centralized process for interview requests. All interview requests for City staff should be submitted through an online interview request form or the designated contacts listed within the City's Media Room. This process does not apply when a staff member is listed as a media contact on a City news release.
