East Lansing’s Local State of Emergency and City Office Closures Extended
East Lansing Mayor Ruth Beier has extended the City of East Lansing’s local state of emergency through Thursday, April 30 at 11:59 p.m. in light of the federal government’s extension of the guidelines to slow the spread of COVID-19 through April 30. A number of additional facility closures and event cancellations have also been announced.
Census 2020 - Be Counted, East Lansing!
The U.S. Census Bureau is currently conducting its decennial census. Anyone who lives in East Lansing the majority of the year (six months or more) should be counted here. This includes most MSU students, even if they have temporarily relocated due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
