Recycling is on a Roll! New Recycling Carts to be Delivered to Homes this Week
The new, 96-gallon recycling carts are being delivered to residents this week. Curbside collection will begin the week of Oct. 5 (Green Week) and Oct. 12 (Blue Week). 

Go Green! East Lansing Gears up for MSU Homecoming Parade
The MSU Homecoming parade will take place on Friday, Oct. 2 at 6 p.m. Please note that a number of streets and facility closures will take place.

Crowdfunding Campaign to Bring Two New Artist Alleys to Downtown East Lansing
A crowdfunding campaign will revitalize and redesign two public spaces into Artist Alleys in downtown East Lansing. The $45,000 fundraising goal must be met by Nov. 12 for the project to qualify for a matching grant from the MEDC.

East Lansing Farmer’s Market Autumn Fest and Cart Bash to Take Place this Sunday, Oct. 4
The ELFM will celebrate the splendor of fall with its annual Autumn Fest event on Sunday, Oct. 4 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. It will feature free cider and donuts, wagon rides, a bonfire, live music, pumpkin painting and fall-themed crafts and games.

In celebration of East Lansing’s new recycling cart program, the Cart Bash will feature recycling information, recycling cart games, freebies (including superhero recycling capes), free kettle corn and an up-close look at East Lansing’s new hydraulic hybrid recycling truck.
