Greater Lansing Taxi Authority

The purpose of the Greater Lansing Taxi Authority (GLTA) is to engage in a uniform regional regulatory structure for taxi companies and drivers and ensure that a safe and professional fleet serves Greater Lansing residents and visitors. The GLTA regulatory structure encompasses the contiguous metro area of Greater Lansing area. View GLTA Articles of Incorporation (PDF).

The City of East Lansing, City of Lansing, Lansing Township, Delhi, Delta Township and Meridian Townships are members of the GLTA. Michigan State University has joined as a non-voting member of the board. The GLTA was created by the cities of Lansing and East Lansing in September 2014.
