Sara struggles to keep her spirits up, but makes remarkable discoveries that may change her seemingly bleak fate.

Once upon a time, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day, he finds his swamp invaded by fairy tale misfits who have been cast off by the terrible Lord Farquaad. When Shrek sets off with Donkey to confront Farquaad, he learns he must rescue Princess Fiona to get his swamp back.
